Being in the bunker many families and friends have turned on each other to stay alive. A daughter made her mother drink poison so she could join a group to give her a better chance at survival. Jack and Rochelle always got along and kept each other safe. BW
while hidden underground with many people, they couldnt be intimate. which is difficult with a relationship, and when jack had that rash he wanted to kill himself but rochelle was there for him watching over him. -jenna olson
an obsticale that the two overcame was when the police came to the bunkers and started shooting and throwing granades and they escaped to the forest. ZSG
An obstacle they both have overcome is being in the bunkers together and trying to survive with all the parasites on them and the police trying to shoot at them. They escaped from all of that together.
While hidden in these bunker they have to overcome many things. Such as finding food, staying healthy, getting these parsites off of them. Running and sticking together was very difficult.
Rochelle and Jack lived in the hole in the bunker, and the rice where all over them. it was very difficult to get rid of the rice. they tried by sitting outside on sunny days, but they never got over.
When Jack was infected with those sores all over his body in the Atrad, and Rochelle was by his side taking care of him. She didn't want him to die, not when they've come so far.
The two of them overcame loosing their families and trying to live on their own not knowing who was surviving, and when Jack found out that his father had survived he was happy. Rochelle has no family left and they both were able to overcome their sadness and focus on the future and truly learn to love one another. -Kate S
